March Lunch

We will enjoy a fine meal and learn how we can assist in reducing the plastics in our environment.  Barbara McChesney will present information about tackling plastics in the environment. She enjoyed a 35-year career as a special education teacher and has always been passionate about being a good steward of the land. This and the arrival of her first grandchild has reinforced Barbara’s desire to work to protect our beautiful planet. In addition Barbara, along with her sisters Beverly and Frances are co-authors of McSisters Tackle Plastic (www.mcsisters.org), a blog designed to share information about the plastic crisis and inspire subscribers to make a difference.  Lunch choice: corned beef & cabbage, chicken thighs or Irish spinach tarts.
