When we launched our “senior expansion” in 2019, aiming to serve every senior in need in our community, we never predicted a pandemic that would push this need through the roof and cause a host of new operational challenges. Despite the obstacles of the past two years, our senior expansion has continued in earnest thanks to your contributions. We are now serving 5,700 seniors each month through Senior Basket—up from 4,000 at this time last year, and 3,700 prior to the pandemic.
